These stories are spreading, believe me, despite all the hype to the contrary.

By the way, next time I come into town (maybe Easter?) It’s not a feminine rite of passage. And, though it pains me to say it, it’s also not very much fun."

Save the ta-tas indeed. I still have my breasts, but I also still have cancer, and menopause, and I'm bald and don't know how long I'll live. Moreover, no one has any friggin clue what triple negative breast cancer is, awareness or no. And last I think we should stop "celebrating" breast cancer awareness month until we can at least make a dent in the death rate.

OK rant over. At least I can still make an awesome dinner, evidenced by my complete food coma. Must. Watch. Sorry I've been so quiet lately...Katy dearest,

Sorry I've been so quiet lately! Still - always - reading regularly and thinking of you all the time.

Did you see this NY Times magazine piece this morning?!?! "Thinking about pink - What message are girls really getting from breast-cancer activism?" I think you'll appreciate the sentiment.

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/14/magazine/14FOB-wwln-t.html?_r=1&ref=magazine

Let's talk soon!
