My little grandson had a bi...Happy Birthday, Lenny. My little grandson had a birthday this week, too. He turned one. A week ago he said "grandma" for the first time.<br />Katy, I hope you have many more birthdays with Lenny. This awful disease is so unpredictable. But, you have a strong bright daughter. She will do well. I don't think you can help but wonder about the future when these special days come. <br />I am blessed my children are already young adults. But, when my little grandson held out his arms for me to hold him, I could not help but wonder, will I be here enough birthdays for him to remember me?<br />By the way, loved your Walking poem.
